Renovation work at Shri Jagdamba Devi Mandir in Koradi in full swing

Shri Mahalaxmi Jagdamba Devi Mandir in Koradi will remain closed for darshan from September 24 to 27 for the preparations of Ashwin Navratri Mahotsav. According to President of Koradi Sansthan, Adv Mukesh Sharma, “The board of trustees have decided to keep the temple closed for public to undertake cleaning of the premises. Various development works have been started in Koradi Jagdamba Devi temple. The construction material and other items required for renovation work are lying in the temple premises. It will be difficult for devotees to take darshan and for trustees to complete the preparations before Navratra Mahotsav.”
 
During Navratri festival devotees visit the temple for 24 hours continuously. The construction material has been spread across the premises. Trustees feel that devotees should not face problems due to the material. Hence, the temple has been closed for darshan, he added. The sanctum sanctorum of the temple will be opened on September 28 at 10 am after Mahapooja. The Navratra Pooja Paath will start from September 29. Temple Manager Pankaj Chaudhari has stated that the facility of online booking of VIP passes has been started by the sansthan. Devotees can book darshan online for Navratri festival. President - Adv Mukesh Sharma; Vice President - Ajay Vijayvargi; Secretary - Keshavrao Fulzele Maharaj; Vice Secretary- Sushila Mantri; Treasurer -Baburao Bhoyar; and trustees including G D Channe, Ashok Khanorkar, Dattu Samaritkar, Nandu Bajaj, Dyaramji Tadaskar, Premlal Patel, Dr. Nandini Tripathi, Prabha Nimone, Swami Nirmalanand Maharaj are working hard for the success of Navratri festival.
 
TN Governor Purohit takes darshan Tamil Nadu Governor, Banwarilal Purohit visited Koradi Jagdamba Devi Mandir and took darshan. He was briefed on the development and renovation work in Koradi by Nagpur district Guardian Minister and Trustee of Koradi temple, Chandrashekhar Bawankule. He informed Purohit about the projects underway for development of the temple. President Adv Mukesh Sharma and Secretary Keshav Fulzele also were present on the occasion.
