“RAMCHARITMANAS is an universal spiritual epic which is meant for welfare and development of every living being. Ramkatha belongs to the person who reads it and character of Lord Ram cannot be portrayed in a frame. Ramayana is for all and for welfare of everyone without any religious and communal differences,” said senior saint Morari Bapu. He was addressing the concluding ceremony of 2nd World Ramayana Conference at MLB Ground on Wednesday.
Addressing the programme, Morari Bapu applauded organisation of 2nd World Ramayana Conference to spread the message of Ramayana and educating the masses. He also appreciated efforts of the State Government in exploring Rampath and organising Narmada Kumbh. He said that Ramayana is the best means for politicians to maintain their dominance and its study should be compulsory for public representatives. He said that Ramcharitmanas and Narmada river are favourites of Lord Shiva and Sanskardhani is the witness of this rare fortune. Speaking on the occasion, State Finance Minister Tarun Bhanot expressed gratitude towards Morari Bapu for his blessings to the residents and invited him for Narmada Kumbh to be organised in the city.
Organising Secretary Dr Akhilesh Gumasta informed that more than 50 subject experts representing different countries actively participated in the conference. He declared to organise 3rd World Ramayana Conference in the city in 2023. He expressed gratitude towards guests, participants, residents and members of organising committee for making the event a memorable one. Earlier, Morari Bapu released book ‘Shabdmanas’ penned by Public Relation Department, Director, Om Prakash Shrivastava and his wife Bharti Shrivastava.
On the occasion, State Finance Minister Tarun Bhanot, State Social Justice Minister Lakhan Ghanghoria, Organising Committee President, MLA Ajay Vishnoi, MLA Ashok Rohani, MLA Nandini Maravi, Sant Didi Gyaneshwari, Swami Shyam Das Maharaj, Swami Akhileshwarahand Maharaj, Organising Secretary Dr Akhilesh Gumasta and experts from different countries were present. Shrivastava informed that the book ‘Shabdmanas’ is based on meanings and references of words in Ramcharitmanas and termed it the dictionary of complicated words in Vedas. It has around 14,611 words along with their meaning, references and their use in different epics. The book is very useful for litterateurs, research scholars and educationists. The 2nd World Ramayana Conference was successfully organised with valuable contribution from Raghvendra Gumasta, Ramji Agrawal, Dr Aditya Mishra, Raviranjan, Ashish Richaria, Manish Richaria, Sanjay Yadav, Atul Manodhya, Abhishek Dhyani, Dr Neena Upadhyay, Bhupendra Upadhyay, S S Grover, Rohit Kaushal, Shishir Agrawal, Dr Vinod Dubey, Lokram Kori, Ramashankar Katare, Sharad Dubey and others.
