‘Second edition of ‘Vishwarang’ to be held online’

This three phase mega event is being organised in memory of Rabindranath Tagore by Rabindranath Tagore University, Bhopal in collaboration with Tagore International Centre for Arts & Culture, Bhopal 
 
The Second edition of ‘Vishwarang’ will be held online from November 20 to 29 this year. This three phase mega event is being organised in memory of legendary Indian poet, writer, composer, philosopher and painter Rabindranath Tagore by Rabindranath Tagore University, Bhopal in collaboration with Tagore International Centre for Arts & Culture, Bhopal.
 
Addressing the press conference, Santosh Choubey, Chancellor, Rabindranath Tagore University, Bhopal (RNTU) & Chairman organizing committee Vishwarang 2020, said that this year, event, will have more number of sessions and international participation, than the last year. In order to increase youth and children participation two new categories – Short Film Contest and Children’s Film Festival – have been added. Choubey informed that first phase of the festival –Poorv Rang - has already started from October 1, and will continue till November 8, while second phase - Vishwarang Country Festival - will be held from November 6 to 8.
 
He further informed that the second phase of the festival will be held from 6 to 8 November, in which the audience will get a glimpse of the arts and cultures of 15 countries. In this three-day event, litterateurs and artists from the US, Canada, UK, Netherlands, Russia, Uzbekistan, Singapore, Australia, Sri Lanka, Fiji, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Sweden, Trinidad and the United Arab Emirates will perform.
