Lt Gen Rajeev Sabherwal, AVSM, VSM Signal Officer-in-Chief and Colonel Commandant, Corps of Signals visited 1 Signal Training Centre from Nov 9 to 11. During the visit, he witnessed the recording of World Record at Gaurishankar Parade Ground, 1 STC by Capt Dishant Kataria of Dare Devils’ team of Corps of Signals for “Longest Ramp Jump over 65 Lying People on an Unmodified Hero Xpulse 200CC Motorcycle”.
 
The General Officer paid homage to the martyrs of the Corps of Signals by laying wreath at War memorial. He also addressed all Signalers of Jabalpur Military Station through a Sainik Sammelan and appreciated them for their services which has brought glory to the Indian Army and The Corps of Signals. He also visited the training facilities of 1 Signal Training Centre and appreciated the high standards of training being imparted following all COVID – 19 precautions using latest techniques.
 
The General Officer believes that crisis are in fact opportunities and “we should never waste a good crisis” thus appreciating Corps Spirit in providing communication and connectivity 24X7 throughout both at the border crisis and amidst COVID pandemic. He congratulated DARE DEVILS team, Corps of Signals for creating a new world record and bringing laurels to The Corps of Signals.
