Highlighting the major achievements of Raisoni Group of Institutions, Sunil Raisoni, Founder of the group said, “Raisoni Group of Institutions was established in 1988 with an aim to impart quality education from KG to doctoral studies. During its four decade journey the group has succeeded in offering excellence in education, making significant, notable and big achievements in the field of education.”
 
In a exclusive interview with The Hitavada, he further said, “The group offers nothing less than the best in education, ultra modern infrastructure, facilities for research and global opportunities for potential youth and faculty,” he said.
The group is doing extremely well not only in academics but also takes care of overall development of the students and welfare of the society for which all institutions are carrying out various extracurricular and social responsibility activities for the students and public, Raisoni pointed out.
 
He said that the group currently manages 19 educational institutes comprising of 2 self financed private universities, six engineering colleges, two MBA colleges, one law college, three senior colleges, three junior colleges and two schools. The group runs more than 150 courses in various disciplines and has more than 25,000 students on its roll. There are more than 1,300 teaching faculty members of which 160 are Ph.D holders. The total number of employees is more than 4,200. The group has equipped every college with hostel facility, ambulances and mobile computer van. It also operates more than 65 buses.
 
The group offers spectrum of courses ranging from KG to doctoral studies in diversified fields like Engineering, Technology, IT, Management, Research, Agriculture, Pharmacy, Interdisciplinary Sciences, Arts, Science, Law, Hotel Management and Human Excellence, he said.
 
He said that all engineering colleges and MBA colleges are accredited by NAAC, three colleges secured ‘A+’ grade and one secured ‘A’ grade. “G H Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur is the youngest institute in the country to be qualified for TEQUIP I and TEQUIP II. It has secured funding of Rs 14.60 crore from Government. This is a big achievement for the group,” he further said.
 
Apart from this, four colleges of the group have received 12(B) recognition from UGC whereas all the engineering and management colleges have 2(f) recognition of UGC. Similarly, engineering colleges at Nagpur and Pune received recognition of Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (SIRO), he added.
