ANUJ Singh with a Best Gross of 80 and L Hansing with a Best Net of 69 excelled in the Satish Kale Memorial Golf Tournament that was held recently. The two-day event was held at Garuda Environmental Park and Training Area, Kamptee. An avid golfer Kale, in whose memory the meet was conducted, was one of the founder members of Vidarbha Golf Association. As many as 83 participants took part in the tournament and the winners in different categories are as under: Best Gross — Anuj Singh (80), Best Net — L Hansing (69), Longest Drive — Mst Aryaman Rautela (346 yds), Closest to Pin — TS Renu (1.7 yds), Closest to Centre Line — Aditya Suklikar (.5 yd), Best Gross (Veterans ) — Col SJ Majumdar (45), Closest to Centre Line (Veterans) — Dr Anil Chaudhary (1.8 yds), Best Gross (Ladies) — Sumedha Rao. Also present were Gautam Kale and Rajveer Kale, Satish Kale’s son and grandson respectively.
