A delegation of the Satnami Samaj members accompanied by PHE Minister Rudra Guru held a meeting with the Forest Minister Mohd Akbar on Thursday for a peaceful solution of the Dharampura controversy in Kawardha District. The meeting was held in a cordial environment at the official residence of the Forest Minister. During the meeting, Forest Minister Mohd Akbar asked for suggestions for solution to the Dharampura controversy. Minister Rudru Guru appealed to the community people for an amicable solution to the issue.
 
He said that any dispute will be harmful for both the concerned side and as such an early solution is needed on the issue. The Satnami Samaj members informed the minister that meetings are being held with the Satnami Samaj and other local residents of Dharampura and efforts are being made to find a peaceful solution. It may be mentioned that an under construction building on a Najul land was demolished by the administration after which the Satnami samaj created an uproar.
 
Local MLA and Minister Mohd Akbar said that efforts will be made to talk to the other community people of Dharampura village for a reasonable solution acceptable to all. The delegation consisted of Radhelal Bhaskar, former Working President District Congress Committee Jagganath Banjare, Kulbul Sonwani, Sadhelal, Dulakhan Gendre, Gopsingh, Shiv Mahant, Rupchand Mohle, Bharat Diwakar and eminent persons from the Satnami community.
