constructions and to renovation solutions, interior and exterior solutions. The company offered placement to four students of 8th Semester, Department of Civil Engineering. Haripriya Sahu, Kiran Sahu, Hemant Kumar and Dharmendra Kumar were the selected students.
Dr P K Ghosh, Principal, Krishna Engineering College, accorded a warm floral welcome to the guest and expressed his heartfelt gratitude at the opportune occasion his presence accorded to the day. He also briefed the guest about the recent good performance of the students at the end-semester examinations conducted by CSVTU.
The Placement started with a pre-placement talk by the Assistant HR Manager of the company, Rajveer Singh Siddhu. He shared his company’s profile with the students and the various projects that they have undertaken and compiled so far. He also advised the students to enhance their hands-on skills along with their core course curricula. He assured the students of the ample opportunities that await them if they choose to build their careers in the company.
Anand Kumar Tripathi, Chairman, KEC, saw the placement drive as an exercise to bridge the gap between education and employment, a concern that KEC has pledged to overcome since inception. The drive was held at the initiative of Ravindra Sharma, Dean, Academics and Amit Pandey, Assistant Professors at KEC, conducted proceedings of the programme.
