IGNOU’s 33rd Convocation on February 17

INDIRA Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will be organising its 33rd Convocation on February 17. For the convenience of its students spread across the country, IGNOU adopted a technology mediated web based convocation so that students need not travel to Delhi, but they can receive degrees at a nearby Regional Centre. The main function will be held at IGNOU headquarters, New Delhi. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, Union Minister for Human Resource Development will deliver the convocation address and present gold medals. The convocation will be held simultaneously at selected 39 regional centres including Nagpur.
 
Dr Sivaswaroop informed through a press release that, the Regional Centre Nagpur will be organising this convocation at Shalom Auditorium, Hislop College. Prof Dr Srinivasa Varakhedi, V-C, Kavi Kulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, Ramtek will be the guest of honor at Nagpur and deliver the regional convocation address. The last date of submission of fresh admission forms for all programmes for January, 2020 session has been extended upto February, 28.
