IIT-Home has declared the on-line registration slots for Admission Screening Examination (ASE) 2022, the single-stage on-line examination to be conducted on April 6. ASE 2022 is the gateway to take admission to IIT-Home’s two-year integrated programme (2YIP) for JEE Main/Advanced preparation. Slot 1 for on-line registration will be open from February 20 to February 27, while Slot 2 will be open from March 20 to March 27. The students appearing in the 10th Board examination in March 2020 are eligible to register. The exam will be based on the Mathematics and Science syllabus from classes 8th to 10th. Candidates can register on-line at a fee of Rs 500, which can be paid via a credit/debit card or internet banking. Xth Board admit card is a mandatory document for ASE registration.
 
Guidance videos, which include ASE registration guidelines, important dates, guidance seminar, results, introductory session, etc., are available on IIT-Home’s Youtube channel. During the on-line registration slot, IIT-Home will also provide a ‘Facilitation Center’ for queries on all weekdays between 11 am to 5 pm. More than 3,000 students from all across India register for the exam every year. Since last year, ASE is also being conducted in Hindi to help rural students overcome the language barrier of English language. Also for the convenience of students, ASE is simultaneously conducted at various centers, across the three cities of Nagpur, Amravati and Chandrapur.
 
IIT-Home has its one and only one centre of operation in Nagpur. In 2019, 205 IIT-Home students qualified for JEE Advanced. A total of 564 out of 666 students qualified for JEE Main 2019 from a single centre of IIT-Home, thereby achieving a success rate of 84.4 per cent as compared to less than 20 per cent success rate on all India level. IIT-Home also brought laurels to the city when Vedant Borkute from IIT-Home achieved AIR 1 in JEE Advanced 2019 in OBC-PWD category.
