Protestors marching towards Rangmahal Square to oppose the arson and deaths that took place during the clashes in Delhi in State capital on Wednesday.

Under the aegis of Loktantrik Adhikar Manch, large number of people gathered at Rangmahal Square and took out a rally till Raj Bhawan, to express their resentment against the violence and deaths that took place in and around North East Delhi in State capital on Wednesday. The people participating in rally also raised slogans against Citizenship Amended Act (CAA), National Register of Citizens (NRC) and National Population of Citizens (NPR). After rally, an eight-point memorandum addressed to Governor Lalji Tandon was also given to the competent authority.
The protestors had alleged BJP minister Kapil Mishra deteriorated the atmosphere through his provocative speech. They said it is the duty of the government to ensure security of the peacefully protesting citizens. The speakers at the protest said some anti-social elements have tried to give communal turn to the ongoing peaceful agitation and protests at Delhi, which led to arson and deaths of more than 20 people while leaving hundreds of people injured.
