GoCoop, India’s first online marketplace for weavers and artisans and winner of Government of India’s first national award for handloom marketing (e-commerce), is a host to the first edition of ‘Go Swadeshi’- a one of a kind exhibition. It is showcasing a wide range of exquisite and authentic handloom sarees, fabrics, dress materials, stoles, dupattas, menswear and home products by weavers and artisans from across the country in Rangayan Gallery, Chitnavis Centre, Civil Lines, Nagpur.
 
The event that started on February 26 will continue till March 1. It remains open from 11 am to 9 pm. There is a perfect mix of contemporary and traditional handlooms at Go Swadeshi,with the best of collection by weavers from Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Jammu & Kashmir, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Rajasthan, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. If you love all things handmade, treat yourself to a variety of unique weaves and crafts at the exhibition.
 
From exquisite Ilkalsarees of Karnataka, vibrant Bengal Jamdanis and Tangail sarees to subtle elegance of Maheshwaris & Chanderis, the collection at Go Swadeshi will surprise you with choices. Along with bright coloured weaves and beautiful designs, you also get to pick from a range of timeless classics like Uppada, Pochampally & Odisha Ikats, Khadi and Tussarsarees.
