Jabalpur Smart City Limited won Best Smart Mobility Project Award for Nono Motorised Transport (NMT) Scheme during Smart City Empowering India Award-2020 organised in New Delhi on Friday.
Jabalpur Smart City Limited has developed Non Motorised Track by covering city nullahs with state-of-the-art measures. Jabalpur Smart City was acclaimed during the award ceremony organised by the Ministry of Urban and Urban Development. Once again, JSCL has won a coveted award at national-level. CEO Ashish Kumar Pathak congratulated the Smart City team for national-level award. JSCL was given national award in the presence of CEOs, senior officials of Central and State Government for new experiments and innovations.
It is toiling hard to change behaviour among citizens and make the city progressive through various experiments in the city through Smart City Mission. Congratulating citizens on this achievement, Municipal Commissioner Ashish Kumar said the city has received awards at national-level due to their cooperation. He said that the appreciation received at the Smart City Empowering India Award 2020 Award ceremony in Delhi will inspire him to carry out his work in a better way and ensure the city progresses continuously at national level with the entire team. Sambhav Ayachi, Assistant Commissioner and In-charge of Smart City Project, was present on behalf of Jabalpur Smart City at Smart City Empowering India Award programme. Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri presented the award.
