The election for Madhya Pradesh Youth Congress will be held through an app. In other words there will be no ballot paper for voting. This is for the first time that Youth Congress election will be held with the help of modern technology.
Youth Congress’s Election Commissioner, Sumit Khanna informed during a press conference that buoyed by the experience of holding an election through app in Rajasthan and Kerala, now Youth Congress election in Madhya Pradesh will be also held through the medium of app.
Earlier, elections were held by focusing on polling booth and vice versa but this time, nothing such is going to happen. Rather voting will be done through the help of app. Voters will get OTP and it is after this that he will be able to cast his vote.
He informed that even some districts have been reserved for SC/STs. Their names are Tikamgarh, Narsinghpur, Anuppur, Bhind, Betul and Khargone. Active members have to pay nominal fee of Rs 75 to the district returning officers or using the online payment channel. There is no membership fee for primary members. Only active members are eligible to vote and be candidates for election.
