Scindia assures BJP workers to shed his blood in lieu of their sweat
Jyotiraditya Scindia said that he is lucky enough that BJP opened gates for him. Meanwhile, he also assured BJP workers to shed his blood in lieu of their sweat. He was addressing sea of BJP workers at BJP office in State capital on Thursday evening. Talking about rich legacy of his family, Jyotiraditya Scindia also remembered his grandmother Vijayaraje Scindia and her contribution to BJP. He stated that his aim is not politics rather public service. Terming ex-CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan as a dedicated BJP worker, he told that if he and Shivraj Singh Chouhan join hands then one plus one becomes eleven. Telling that post and chair are not important for him rather he wants to make space in the hearts of BJP workers. In an indirect reference to Congress, he told that when Scindia family is challenged, then consequences are different (disastrous).
He added that in 1968, his grandmother was challenged and everyone knew that what happened with then government at that time. He was reportedly referring about his stand in favour of striking guest teachers and CM Kamal Nath’s blunt reply that if Scindia wants to hit the roads then let him do. He told that his father late Madhav Rao Scindia started his political career from Jan Sangh and now he has left everything (Congress) to join BJP. Scindia also showered praise on PM Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, former Prime Minister late Atal Behari Vajpayee as well.
On this occasion, almost entire BJP leadership including ex-CM Shivraj Singh, Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, BJP State President V D Sharma, Leader of Opposition Gopal Bhargava, Narottam Mishra, Yashodhara Raje Scindia etc were present. Earlier, Shivraj Singh Chouhan also addressed BJP workers and criticised Kamal Nath government for not fulfilling the promises made to people.
He said that luring promise of waiving farmer’s loan upto Rs 2 lakh has been also not fulfilled. On reaching BJP office, first Jyotiraditya Scindia garlanded statues of great leaders of BJP including Kushabhau Thakre, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, Raj Mata Vijaya Raje Scindia. Moreover, portrait of his father Madhav Rao Scindia was also put up at BJP office and Jyotiraditya Scindia and other BJP leaders including Shivraj Singh Chouhan also offered flower petals on Madhav Rao Scindia’s portrait. Earlier, Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that arrival of Jyotiraditya Scindia into BJP is a good sign for state politics. Leader of Opposition Gopal Bhargava went ahead to say that arrival of Jyotiraditya Scindia’s into BJP is not only good sign for state politics but for national politics as well.
