Amid various steps being taken by the Government establishments, Zilla Parishad (ZP) Nagpur has also appealed to the people to visit ZP only between 2 pm and 4 pm, that too, only in case of very important/urgent work. Sanjay Yadav, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ZP, issued a statement in this regard on Wednesday. He stressed that the crowd of visitors to ZP needed to be controlled as part of the measures to curb the spread of Coronavirus.

Hence, those having very important/urgent work only should visit ZP, that too, between 2 pm and 4 pm. Others should avoid visiting ZP. The essential correspondence should be done through e-mail, and necessary information must be given to the authorities concerned through telephone, Yadav added. Also, ZP administration has arranged hand-sanitiser at the entrance to the ZP building for visitors. He appealed to the visitors to make use of the facility. “The directives will continue till further orders from the Government. The people should ensure that the directives are not violated and extend due co-operation,” read the statement. He also issued a list of telephone numbers and e-mail ids of top ZP officers. 
 
Raman Science Centre, Dragon Palace Temple to remain closed In view of the prevalent situation pertaining to COVID-19, management/administration of various places of importance has decided to keep the places closed till March 31. As per the advisory of Union Ministry of Health and directives of State Government and local authorities, Raman Science Centre and Planetarium will remain closed for the visitors till March 31 or till further orders. Dragon Palace Temple also will remain closed till March 31. The temple is visited by thousands of Buddhist devotees and tourists from across the world.
 
Adv Sulekha Kumbhare, former Minister of State, stated in a press release that Dragon Palace Temple would remain closed in accordance with the directives of State Government. The famous Chamatkarik Hanuman Mandir at Jamsawali also has been closed till March 31. Many people from Nagpur and nearby areas visit the temple in Saunsar. Omprakash Sanodiya, Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Saunsar, also appealed to the people not to visit the temple and worship the deity at their homes.
