“People should leave the habit of depending on someone or any God father to save them in life. The true followers of Swatantryaveer Savarkar should stand strong behind each decisions they had taken in life. They should respect Savarkar not through their thoughts but through their actions.
They should also think about the insult of Savarkar as insult of nationalism. After reading biography of Savarkar, his followers should follow this great nationalist from heart,” appealed Grand Son of Swatantryaveer Savarkar, Ranjeet Savarkar. Ranjeet Savarkar was addressing the programme organised by Saptak and Orange City Cultural Foundation on Saturday at Vidarbha Sahitya Sangh.
The programme of screening of audio-visual CD was organised by Saptak and Orange City Cultural Foundation. Singer and musician, Abhijeet Joshi made introductory remarks. Mayor Sandip Joshi; President of Savarkar Rashtriya Smarak from Mumbai, Arun Joshi; former General Manager of LIC of India, Nilesh Sathe; Vilas Manekar of Saptak; Dr Chandrashekhar Meshram, President of Orange City Cultural Foundation were the guests present on this occasion. Renuka Deshkar conducted the proceedings. The Video CD was produced by Circle Creation Prosound; Harshwardhan Productions; Swatantrya Savarkar Rashrtiya Smarak. The lyrics are penned by Suman Phadke while Jageshwar Dhoble is the director. Gaurav Chati has sung the songs while Aditya Rajgopalan is the cinematographer. Amit Dhanraj has contributed towards VFX while Amol Telpande has performed the role of Savarkar. Asavari Ramekar, Harshada Deshpande, Chinmay Talpande, Saurav Shrime and more than 40 artists had acted in the Video. Gauri Menan is a producer.
