NMC launches COVID-19 app for medical advice, help

Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has unveiled COVID-19 app for the Nagpurians so that if needed medical advice and help can be provided in time of need. The app is brainchild of Municipal Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe and it went live from Friday onwards and it was widely shared on social media platform. The app is developed with help of HLL Life Care Governmnent of India. As per NMC communication, citizens who have symptoms of fever, dry cough and difficulty in breathing should click on the shared link and feed the information in the app.
 
Mundhe said that citizens should answer the questions framed in the app and then click on submit button. After submission of health details same would be analysed by Doctors of NMC and they would get back to citizens and advise further course of action. Mundhe also said that the link would also be uploaded on Google playstore within 72 hours so that citizens can download the same in easy way. He also warned that only those citizens who have symptoms of fever, dry cough and breathing problems should use the App so that same is not clogged and civic doctors are not unnecessarily engaged in non serious work.
 
The country today is facing calamity not seen in past century and under stewardship of Municipal Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe, NMC is racing ahead of times and rolling out one welfare measure after another. It was first to order door to door survey after four patients tested positive for COVID-19 ensuring that citizens are assured that civic body is pro-active. Thereafter it tied-up with chemist and grocery shops owner associations to ensure that their establishments remains open 24 hours to facilitate hassle-free situation for citizens under lockdown.
