Sixth Graduation Ceremony of YCCE held at Shri Datta Meghe Auditorium

The sixth Graduation Ceremony of Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering (YCCE), Wandongri, Nagpur after gaining the autonomous status, was held at Shri Datta Meghe Auditorium, YCCE Campus, Nagpur on February 29. Former cief minister and Leader of Opposition, Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Devendra Fadnavis was the Chief Guest while Chairman, Board of Management, YCCE Datta Meghe presided over the function.
 
The ceremony covered passed out graduands of 7 UG programmes and 9 PG programmes of batch 2018-19. On the occasion, fadnavis said that getting degree alone will not make a person graduate but how meaningfully they contribute that knowledge to the society, makes a lot of difference and urge students to contribute meaningfully to the society. He further shared his experience and wisdom and lauded the efforts of the college and congratulated the YCCE on shaping the students well to face and excel in the outer world YCCE, conferred 18 gold, 7 silver and 7 bronze medals and 3 citations and special medal in the name of Late Dr Shekhar D Bhole and Sanjeev Kumar Das to the graduate and post-graduate toppers of 2018-19 batch. The chief guest joined the procession with ceremoniously preceded to the auditorium, lead by Registrar Dr P K Dakhole of the Institution. Amongst the other prominent dignitaries, all BOM members including, Dr Ram Nibudey, Dr Satish Wate, Dr S R Choudhary, Gulabrao R Thakare, and Dr P B Bahatkar and Prof. S S Akant attended the proceedings. Dr U P Waghe highlighted the achievements of YCCE and various efforts taken for strengthening the quality of education.
