Sanitisation tunnel donated to IGGMCH

Renowned Gynaecologist Dr Pratibha Baheti and Astha Ladies Group jointly donated a sanitisation tunnel to COVID-19 ward at Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital (IGGMCH). The sanitisation tunnel is different. It is completely metallic and sensor-based. It creates a heavy mist for six seconds and sanitises a person properly.
 
Dr Ajay Keoliya, Dean of IGGMCH; Dr Bansal, Dr Sagar Pande, Dr Ansari, Dr Chauhan, and other frontline corona-warriors and their associates appreciated the tunnel. They described it as a permanent asset to the institution, stated a press release issued by Dr Manisha Rathi, Project Co-ordinator. Dr Pratibha Baheti and Astha Ladies Group members including Renu Gandhi, Pushpa Kakani, Dr Manisha Rathi, Madhu Sabu, Prema Gandhi, Sumitra Agarwal, Pramila Mohta, Purna Bagdi, Indira Mantri, Shikha Jaipuria, Madhu Rathi, Poonam Acharya, Sunita Singhee, Sarita Pasari, and Anjali Purohit jointly donated the tunnel. Wamanrao Thombre, Director of Shivalik Industries, Borgaon, and Kaustubh Thombre designed the tunnel. Dr Manisha Rathi informed through the press release that the sanitisation tunnel was useful. Precaution to be taken is to restrict multiple entries at a time by one person. People sensitive to bleach and Sodium Hypochlorite should be more careful, she added.
