PM Modi enquires about health of Rana couple

Amravati Prime Minister Narendra Modi enquired about the health of MP Navneet Rana by contacting her on cell phone and also took stock of measures to contain the spread of coronavrus in the district and State. PM Modi called Rana around 10.30 pm on Saturday and enquired about her health. During 5.23 minutes’ interaction with PM, Rana informed about the concerning situation in Amravati.

She praised for the steps taken by Prime Minister and his decision to impose lockdown in the country to contain the spread of coronavirus. She said that only due to his strict action, India has succeeded in containing the COVID-19 till date and hoped that India would successfully overcome the pandemic under his able leadership and guidance.

Navneet Rana demanded to send Central Squads in every district to monitor the situation. She expressed her concern over the rising number of corona patients in the district and also informed that the district has been included in Red zone from earlier Orange zone. Rana has demanded to provide insurance cover of Rs 50 lakh to the doctors, cops, health care employees, sanitation employees and journalists extending their services in the tough time. Prime Minister Modi also enquired about the health of her husband MLA Ravi Rana.
