After a gap of almost two months, domestic flights operation resumed at Raja Bhoj Airport on Monday. Before lockdown, the last flight which operated from Raja Bhoj Airport was on March 24.
On Monday, Indigo and Air India operated one flight each for Delhi. By considering facilities for passengers and to prevent corona, Airport Authority of India (AAI) has ensured physical distancing, touch less and contactless check in. With the help of State Government, a help desk was established at arrival and departure gates. Passengers health was checked by thermal screening and checking their oxygen level. Passengers were asked to fill self-declaration form.
Airport Director Anil Vikram himself took stock of various facilities meant for passengers. A total of 122 passengers arrived by Indigo flight and 70 passengers departed by it. As many as 55 passengers arrived by Air India and at least 54 passengers departed by the same flight.
