NATIONAL Students Union of India (NSUI) members provided safety kits to policemen and continued distribution of relief materials on 46th day of the campaign during lockdown. NSUI members are distributing food and relief materials being provided by Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Vivek Tankha. NSUI State Secretary Raghu Tiwari informed that, they are distributing breakfast, lunch and dinner to poor and deprived persons since last 46 days through temporary kitchens established at Indira Basti, Prem Nagar, Sneh Nagar and Manas Bhawan areas.
Besides this, 30 families are being given food grains. Along with providing food and foodgrains, team of around 53 members has distributed around 9,500 masks and 1500 sanitisers amongst police personnel to protect them from COVID-19 infection. Raghu Tiwari informed that the campaign will be continued till the revoking of lockdown and elimination of novel coronavirus infection.
