Principal Secretary (Energy), Sanjay Dubey reviewed the working of Madhya Pradesh Power Generating and Power Transmission Companies at State electricity headquarters, Shakti Bhawan, on Wednesday. Addressing the meeting, the PS (Energy) directed officers of power generating and transmission companies to ensure uninterrupted supply of 24-hour domestic and 10-hour agriculture.
 
The company should ensure utmost utilisation of thermal and hydel power stations and ensure timely completion of annual maintenance of thermal power stations for their optimum utilisation during the Rabi season. MP Genco, Managing Director, Manjeet Singh detailed about the performance of thermal and hydel power stations through a power point presentation.
 
PS Dubey directed the officers for making necessary preparations for maintenance of coal stock and reviewed the preparations for advancement and renovation of old thermal power stations. He directed the officers of Transmission Company for timely completion of ongoing projects of transmission lines and sub-stations in the State. During the meeting, MPTDCL Managing Director, PAR Bende, MPPGCL, Managing Director, Manjeet Singh, Director (Technical), A K Tailor, Energy Department, OSD, S K Sharma, Deputy Secretary, Neeraj Agrawal, MPPMCL, CGM, Rajiv Keskar and other senior engineers were present.
