Total curtailment in exemptions granted during Unlock 1.0 phase on Sunday was supported by people belonging to various sections of society. Reportedly halt in exemptions were notified by Collector and District Magistrate Bharat Yadav to snap the persisting COVID-19 chain in city area. One day curtailment of exemptions helped in restricting movement of people as baring essential services, roads across the municipal jurisdiction wore deserted look. However in some cases, cops took serious note of violation and acted in accordance with law.

The district administration cognizance, would impose more restrictions on next Sunday to make people understand the danger of coronavirus that still looms at large.
The ‘Sunday Viraam’ was largely effective but some persons attempted to violate the restrictions and were handled aptly by the administration. Except movement for essential services, people by and large opted to adhere to rules imposed by administration. Cops were seen on toes to check any unwarranted movement of people since dawn. This made people across the municipal ambit follow the one day curtailment by administration on Sunday. The plying of two-wheelers at various locations has become an issue of concern for administration. Also some people moved about without adhering to preventive steps of using facemasks. Markets across the city limit remained closef as traders expressed their support for the ‘Sunday Viraam’.
