Speaking on the occasion, Member of Parliament (MP) Rakesh Singh said the second term of Modi Government was very effective and full of challenges.

During this period, many historic decisions were made which the country had been waiting for years. Singh said after formation of BJP led Government for the second time, a number of significant decisions including abrogation of Article 35A, Section 370, amendment of the Citizenship Amendment Act 2019, paving way for the construction of Ram temple, prohibiting triple talaq, dedicating the Kartarpur corridor to the nation, Buriyang Agreement for Tripura, Bodo Agreement etc were taken for the progress of army, farmers, labourers, women and youths.

Singh said on one hand it was a year full of achievements while on the other hand challenges were also great as a crisis like coronavirus inspection spread in the country. The decisions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi resulted in preventing COVID-19 from spreading and the Union Government is also working to provide relief to people by giving Atmanirbhar Bharat package, added Singh.BJP City President G S Thakur and MLA Ashok Rohani also expressed their views on the occasion.
