City’s poor sanitation a cause of concern

According to information, rise in cases of COVID-19 has made people by and large fearful, while the JMC seems to have failed to take gravity of the cleanliness to contain spread of coronavirus. Reportedly, men from Sanitation Department of JMC were seen on toes ensuring optimal cleanliness. But the in the post-lockdown, the sanitation department seems to have gone in slumber inviting serious trouble, for denizens that looms at large in view of spate in COVID-19 cases.
About the lethargy evident among sanitation department it is informed that men from the JMC are involved in mere completion of formality as far as cleaning and removing filth and garbage from drains and sewer lanes. The apparent lethargy of sanitation department is likely to invite serious trouble for denizens of city. With majority of municipal wards having bad record of water-logging in rainy season. In the post lockdown period, the much hyped and talked door to door collection of house hold waste has also suffered set back. With trolleys pressed into service seldom take garbage from home makes people to discard waste on road sides.
