A day before Rajya Sabha elections, BJP organised MLA squad meeting at its party headquarters in State capital on Thursday night. All BJP MLAs and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, BJP State President V D Sharma Prabhat Jha, Kailash Vijayvargiya etc attended the meeting. BJP’s Observer for Rajya Sabha elections and Union Minister, Prakash Javadekar came especially from Delhi to guide party. Discussion remained centered on Rajya Sabha elections to be held to fill up three vacant seats. Training was also given to BJP MLAs over how to cast vote during Rajya Sabha elections. BJP has fielded Jyotiraditya Scindia and Sumer Singh Solanki as its Rajya Sabha candidates.
 
A BJP MLA told to ‘The Hitavada’ that Prakash Javadekar shed light on achievements of first year rule of Modi Government and bold decisions taken by it which have gone into the annals of history.
 
He also referred the present tension between India and China over border issue. He also told that some Independent MLAs and two BSP MLAs including Ram Bai also turned up in the meeting. Rajya Sabha candidate Jyotiraditya Scindia took part in meeting through the medium of video-conference and appealed party MLAs to support his candidature. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan told that China is embarrassed as India has succeeded to construct road till border in Modi Government rule.
