Members of National Students Union of India (NSUI) Bhopal reached to the Governor House on Saturday to oppose the examination being conducted by universities for under-graduate and post-graduate students. The demonstrators also followed social distancing intact outside of Governor House and sought time from Governor to present their thought. They said that life of lakhs of students will be in peril with the exam schedule as it can spread the pandemic.
They said students will be mentally affected after this contamination. District President of NSUI Ashutosh Chauksey said, “We are opposing the exam schedule of universities as it can lead outbreak of the pandemic. Moreover, private universities are pressuring students for fee submission which is affecting the poor and underprivileged students.” He further added that they have sought time from the Governor to discuss the risk on student’s lives with this exam schedule. He said that representative of NSUI want to discuss their problem with Governor.
NSUI State speaker Vivek Tripathi said, “instead of scheduling exam, Government should have control over the arbitrary of educational institutes. They are demanding exam fee and tuition fee from students in such crisis. This is really affecting the students and their parents as everyone has received deduction on wages.”
