Ensuring compliance of guidelines issues by the State authorities and local administration, shopping malls and showrooms opened in the city. Two major shopping centres of the city opened from Monday morning onwards. The team of administration officials ensured compliances like sanitisation of all showrooms, shops, places like escalators, lifts as well as points where repeated touch could be done by public like door handles, chairs fixed in the lobby, drinking water and washrooms, etc.
Food courts were also checked in terms of hygiene in kitchen, social distancing in seating and no permission has been given to open film screens and children play area. It may be mentioned that District Collector Bharat Yadav had conducted a meeting of administrative officials including revenue, Police, Municipal Corporation and other concerned departments and directed them to constitute teams and conduct regular inspection of shopping centres and malls in the city.
According to information, on June 7 evening, teams carried out inspection of cleaning and sanitisation works at showrooms, shops in malls and also sanitisation in public movement areas. As per instructions facilities of hand washing, sanitisation of visitors, health screening with thermal screening and symptomatic information noted by the employees of mall and persons with any symptom were not allowed to enter inside the mall. The employees were provided hand gloves, face masks, sanitisers and thermal scanners for safety. Along with this as per guidelines, sanitisation of home delivery items was followed and in showrooms cashless option was encouraged.
