There is a great news for the air travellers as Swami Vivekananda Airport Administration has announced flight services between Jagdalpur to Raipur and Raipur to Hyderabad from August 5. Swami Vivekananda Airport Raipur Director Rakesh Ranjan Sahay informed that the air services are going to start after AAI’s help in licensing. The Director told that the first flight on August 5 will take off from Hyderbad at 9:50 and land at Jagdalpur at 11:15. After a brief halt, the flight will depart from Jagdalpur Airport at 11:55 am and arrive at Swami Vivekananda Airport Raipur at 1 pm.
 
The flight will take a forty-minute stoppage at Swami Vivekananda Airport Raipur and take off for Jagdalpur at 1:40 pm and land a Jagdalpur Airport at 2.45 pm and then from Jagdalpur, the flight will depart to Hyderabad at 3.25 pm. This flight will land at Hyderabad Airport at 4.50 pm. Jagdalpur Collector Rajat Bansal had taken the initiative with top priority, which will be finally materialized on the ground very soon.
 
The Air Alliance flights which will start0 its services between Jagdalpur-Raipur-Hyderabad are as following 9I-885 Hyderabad/Jagdalpur (JGB) – 0950/1115, 9I-885 Jagdalpur (JGB)/Raipur – 1155/1300, 9I-886 Raipur/Jagdalpur (JGB) – 1340/1445, 9I-885 Jagdalpur (JGB)/Hyderabad – 1525/1650. Swami Vivekananda Airport Director Rakesh Ranjan Sahay said that Jagdalpur is a beautiful place, which attracts tourists in large numbers. Presently, the only way to reach Jagdalpur is via road, which is not very convenient for people. Starting of flight services is expected to attract more tourists.
 
The flights have also come as a great mean convenience for the paramilitary force personnel to travel from Raipur to Jagdalpur and back, not to mention flights are not just faster but also much safer for security personnel. They can even reach Hyderabad from any metro city and from there to Jagdalpur. It has also been noticed that the start of flight service ensues increase economic activities, which benefits the local business. It’s to be noted that 50 per cent seats in these flights will have fixed prices and rest are seats have dynamic pricing. The travellers will also be provided with safety equipment such as sanitizer, mask, gloves as per prevalent rules.
