Collector of Singrauli, NTPC Vindhyachal had started ‘Project Udaan’ for providing quality education to class X students of Govt Schools. It proved fruitful with the increasing passing percentage upto 27.7 per cent in Singrauli district
‘PROJECT Udaan’ initiated by NTPC Vindhyachal proved fruitful for class X students of Government Schools as high school examination result has been improved from 35.32 per cent in year 2018-19 to 63.02 per cent in year 2019-20. Under the direction of Collector of Singrauli, NTPC Vindhyachal had started ‘Project Udaan’ for providing quality education to class X students of Government Schools.
The company had provided the budget of Rs 29.63 lakhs for fulfilling academic requirements of students. In the first phase of the project, 10 days bridge course was started with residential training for weak students from May 30 to June 9, 2019. During the course, 113 teachers of English, 252 teachers of Science and Social Science provided training to the students.
In second phase, total numbers of 13,257 students of class X in 144 Government Schools were special classes of English, Mathematics, Science and Social Science subjects through remedial modules prepared by expert teachers. It helped the students for their orientation, improved their learning and better preparations of their examinations.NTPCVindhyachal provided financial help of Rs 22.88 lakhs for the project.The project proved fruitful with the increasing passing percentage upto 27.7 per cent in Singrauli district.
