PODAR International School, Nagpur hub conducted a virtual run, E–Marathon for its students, parents, grand parents and teachers on last Sunday. With a message of keeping oneself fit and healthy amidst the outbreak of COVID-19, the marathon run was conducted between 6 am to 10 am as per the convenience of students and parents.
Participants covered the distance specified undertaking safety measures and recorded their timings on the suggested fitness app and uploaded the snapshots of their run summary on the given link. More than 1000 participants from Chandrapur, Wardha, Gondia, Katol, Bhandara, Raipur apart from Nagpur took part to make the event a huge success. All the participants received certificates which was generated online.
The virtual marathon run went smoothly and successfully under the guidance of Shyam Narayan Sahu, Principal of Podar International School, Besa with co-operation and efforts of the Sports and Computer departments. Teachers including Ashish Deshpande, Priyanka Deshpande, Apeksha Jajurley, Anshuta Gadkar, Aniket Kurwe, Amit Wankhede, Pankaj Bhadang and Sagar Bhagat worked tirelessly to come up with results on the same day. Podar International regularly conducts events involving parents, teachers and students.
