WCL participates in tree plantation campaign

COAL India Limited’s subsidiary company Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) participated in the Ministry of Coal, Government of India’s tree plantation campaign on July 23. The tree plantation took place at WCL, Indora Complex where Rajiv Ranjan Mishra, CMD of WCL, Ajit Kumar Choudhary, Director Technical, WCL and Amit Kumar Srivastav, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), WCL planted saplings.
Under the campaign, WCL has set a target to plant more than 50,000 fruit and medicinal plants. Kaushik Chakraborty, GM (Environment), WCL, and CIL Safety Board Executive Committee Members C J Joseph, Shivkumar Yadav, Saurabh Dubey and S H Baig, GM (Corporate Affairs), Tarun Kumar Srivastav, GM (OC) Iqbal Singh, GM R G Gedam were present.
