Now Commercial Deptt employees work as multi-skilled employees: Sr DCM Ranjan

Employees serving for Commercial Department of Jabalpur division would now work as multi-skilled employees, as this would enhance the working of commercial department would prove of immense worth to passengers and traders.

This was instructed by Vishwa Ranjan Senior Divisional Commercial Manager(SrDCM) to Commercial Inspectors(CI) of Jabalpur division on Saturday. A meeting was called upon by the SrDCM in the commercial department was attended by SrDCM(Coaching Manoj Kumar Gupta, DCM Devesh Soni and others. According to information, Vishwa Ranjan SrDCM Jabalpur division has instructed employees of commercial department to work as multi-skilled employees. He said the commercial department is the front line department of Railways consequently it is mandatory on the part of employees to remain alert in discharging with their responsibilities as this in turn has a direct bearing on the working and reputation of railways.

Addressing the CIs present on the occasion SrDCM Ranjan made an appeal to supervisors to discharge their duty in a befitting manner to stop unnecessary expenses in loading. And to increase non-fare revenue they have to remain on their toes. Also that employees must make optimal use of digital mode of payment and modern technology. Among present in the meeting were SrDCM(Coaching Manoj Kumar Gupta, DCM Devesh Soni who also addressed the commercial inspectors present on the occasion.
