Helping needy in times of crisis is true worship of God: Amar Mishra

Mukhyamantri Jan Kalyan Yojana Prakoshta which has selflessly been helping poor and needy with utter devotion. Members of the organisation are continuously providing food, ration, safety kits to denizens of West Assembly. They have successfully fulfilled their promise of not letting any poor sleep empty stomach during corona crisis. Narrating the uninterrupted social work executed for four months, City Convenor of Prakoshta Amar Mishra informed that corona has hit the entire world. It has also infected people in India. In view of the crisis Prime Minister Narendra Modi had to lockdown country in public interest. But, the most-affected were the daily-wage earners.
 
Thousands of poor had to face food crisis. Mishra said that corona knocked at the time when Shivraj Singh Chouhan took the reins of Madhya Pradesh. In the crisis, CM Chouhan made efficient strategy on the line of ‘Nara Seva He Narayan Seva’. It took days and nights to serve and protect the people. Mishra said that he also followed the Chief Minister and vowed not to let anyone sleep empty stomach. He started ‘Shivraj Rasoi’ in Gwarighat and provided food both the times to labourers, poor, needy people during lockdown 1 and 2. Prakoshta members distributed as many as 60,000 food packets to needy. Likewise, during lockdown 3 and 4 and unlock 1 they distributed ration kits to middle class families, priests, petty traders, boatmen, auto drivers, women working in shops and poors. As many as 40,000 people of 5,000 families were provided flour, rice, lentils, oil, spices, salt, sugar, chapattis, vegetables, biscuits and other items.
 
Apart from this, Amar said they also distributed Shivraj Suraksha Kit which contains mask, sanitiser, soap, special oil and ayurvedic decoction during unlock 1 for safety of the people. Amar Mishra further told that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, BJP State President Vishnu Dutt Sharma, Minister Vishwas Sarang, CM’s Public Welfare Scheme Cell Convenor Raj Gopal Mishra Chari contributed.
 
He also provided ration to students, local and migrant labourers along with poor helpless aged women by visiting their homes on Mother’s Day. In unlock, the poor girl of Ghamapur Lalmati area was provided financial support for marriage. Mishra informed that food and ration were distributed to the poor of West Assembly including Gwarighat, PP Colony, Bagra Dafai, Munda Quarter, Polipathar, Baburao Paranjape ward, Rampur, Madan Mahal, Gupteshwar, Narsingh ward, Veer Savarkar ward, Indira Gandhi ward, Amanpur, Gulaua Chowk, Ganganagar Garha, Garha Bazar, Sanjeevani Nagar, Bedi Nagar, Chhui Khadan, Indira Basti, Anna Mohalla, Medical, Shastri Nagar, JDA Colony, Gupta Nagar, Sagda Basti, Tripuri, Maharana Pratap Ward, Tilwara apart from Ranital, Yadav Colony, Vijay Nagar Road, Rameswaram Colony, Lalmati, Ghampur, Adhartal, Maharajpur, Barela etc.
 
Mishra said that apart from food they also felicitated corona fighters, administrative officers, health workers, policemen and sanitation workers for their selfless services. BJP officials and public representatives not only praised the work done by Amar Mishra during the pandemic, but also reached Shivraj Rasoi and encouraged members. BJP leaders including MP Rakesh Singh, former president of Madhya Pradesh Gau Promotion Board Mahamandaleshwar Swami Akhileshwaranand Giri, BJP City President G S Thakur, Member of COVID-19 Health Task Force State Dr Jitendra Jamdar, Panagar MLA Sushil Tiwari, Former Minister Harendra Jeet Singh, Former Mayor Prabhat Sahu apart from Divisional Commissioner, Mahesh Chandra Choudhary.
 
He said the District administration and Red Cross Society has jointly organised a function at the Collectorate and honoured Amar Mishra with ‘Corona Warrior Award’ for his services to suffering humanity. On the occasion, Collector Bharat Yadav said that when people were not leaving their home during the crisis, Mishra risked his life and continued to serve the public through Shivraj Rasoi for three months. He distributed food, ration and security kit to needy people. Mahamandaleshwar Swami Akhileshwaranand Giri, Dr Jitendra Jamdar, Ashish Dixit, Secretary, Red Cross Society, were also present.
