Dr Nigam appointed Vice Chancellor of SSPU, Bhilai

Governor and Chancellor Anusuiya Uikey on Wednesday appointed Dr Laxmishankar Nigam, retired professor and HoD, Ancient History, Culture and Archeology, PRSU, as Vice Chancellor of Shri Shankaracharya Professional University (SSPU), Bhilai.

The Governor appointed Dr Nigam under Section 17(3) of Chhattisgarh Private University (Establishment and Operation) Avt, 2005. Talking to ‘The Hitavada,’ Dr Nigam said that he retired from PRSU in 2012. He has already joined in the Raj Bhawan on Tuesday and joined the university in Bhilai on Wednesday.
