Door-to-door survey to trace covid patients

Health teams have commenced a door-to-door survey to identify the covid-19 patients. The teams will use pulse oxy-meters to ascertain the patients in 893 sub-grids of 35 main grids covering entire urban area under the leadership of Commissioners of all 10 Zones and Incident Commanders. Industries as Mahindra Sponge and Power Limited, Raipur Crusher Association and Bajrang Ispath officials have gifted 1,000 Pulse Oxy-Meters to Collector Dr S Bharathi Dasan and RMC Commissioner Saurabh Kumar to ensure sufficient availability of the equipment.
 
In the line with other big cities, special arrangements are being made at ground level to quickly identify the coronavirus infection. All 10 zones have been divided into 893 sub-grids. These teams are checking health of people from home to home and testing the oxygen level.
 
Those with oxygen level lower than 95 per cent will further undergo advance testing free of cost. The teams have been directed to sanitise the oxy-meters each time after use. Mahindra Sponge & Power Director Manoj Agrawal and Mahendra Agrawal donated 500 pulse oxy-meters, Crusher Industries Association functionaries Rakesh Dubey, Motumal Advani, Mahendra Bansal, Tikam Nagwani, Kalyan Singh Thakur, Prakash Advani, Tirpatpal Singh, Ravi Kukreja, Hemant Bajaj donated 200 oxy-meters and Bajrang Ispath Director S K Goel gave 300 pulse oxy-meters. District Administration and RMC have appealed people to cooperate with the team. Anyone who unnecessarily interrupts health test or refuse to take the test will be subjected to be booked under Section 51 of National Disaster Management 2005 Act and Sections 269, 270, and 188 of the IPC.
