MLA Krishna Khopde donates e-Rickshaws to needy people

East Nagpur MLA Krishna Khopde donated e-rickshaws to poor people who earn their bread and butter through hand-carts and now their business got affected due to lockdown in the city. The lockdown affected the economy of every individual and many lost their jobs. At this situation, to provide a helping hand to affected people, Khopde donated e-rickshaws in his constituency.
During the event, Khopde also informed people about Pradhan Mantri Mudra Loan Scheme and encouraged them to start small business with the help of the scheme. He also appealed Rakesh Gandhi, President of the Scheme in Nagpur to co-operate and help people who are approaching him for loans amid this critical situation. Khopde handed over six e-rickshaw keys to needy people who want to earn with the help of this vehicle.
The keys were distributed to two women, one handicapped person and three other needy persons. Sanjay Wadhwani, city president of BJP Vyapari Aghadi; Rakesh Gandhi; Narsibhai Patel, Ashok Shaniware, Rajesh Muniyar, Sunil Suryawanshi, Anil Kodape and others were present during the event.
