MIT-WPU holds convocation ceremony

“Students should keep learning at every stage of their life. Priority should be given to creativity in the workplace and social service in life. This is the real degree that the society confers on you,” said world renowned acclaimed business consultant, best selling author and motivational speaker Dr Ram Charan. He was speaking at the convocation ceremony of the third batch of students of Dr Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University held at Loni Kalbhor on October 9. Dr Ram Charan was chief guest in presence of the Founding President of MIT World Peace University, Prof Dr Vishwanath D Karad. President of The University of Texas at Arlington, Dr Vistasp Karbhari was present online for this ceremony. Also, the Founding Trustee of MAEERs MIT, Prof Prakash Joshi, Dean of MAEERs MIT Prof Sharadchandra Darade, Executive President, MIT-WPU Rahul V Karad, Vice Chancellor in charge, Prof Dr R M Chitnis, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Milind Pande, Registrar Dr Prashant Dave and others were also present for the ceremony. Vishwamohan Singh was awarded the Founder President’s Medal and Snehal Yelai was honored with the Executive President Medal. Apart from this 70 gold, 16 silver and 13 bronze medals were awarded and a total of 3,878 students were awarded degrees this year.
 
Dr Ram Charan said, “Students should keep learning at every moment of their life. The secret to success for all professionals around the world is to keep learning. Before going to bed every night, think about what you want to learn the next day. This promotes mental health.” Dr Vistasp Karbhari said, “To achieve something new in life learning is important. We need to understand the art of working in a group and need to know what responsibility really means. There will be many setbacks in life but success is achieved only after facing it. Hard work, goals and proper planning of time is important.” Dr Vishwanath D Karad said, “Discipline and character are important in life. We should not forget our duty towards Mother India and our service to our parents.” Rahul V Karad said, “After graduating today, students should think of working for our country.”
