He has scored 50 marks in Physics, 47 in Chemistry and 96 marks in Mathematics. “I was confident of scoring good marks in the exam but never imagined to be a city topper. Physics and Mathematics are my favourite subjects but I worked hard in Chemistry too which helped me to get good marks in the exam,” said Vedant. A former student of BRA Mundle High School and Taiwade College, Koradi has recently joined IIT Bombay in Mechanical stream. Vedant scored 96% in Class 10th and 98.67% in Class 12th.

He participated in various competitions at school-level and won many awards. Vedant’s father Vikas Chandewar is a Civil Engineer and working with a Consultancy and his mother Megha Chandewar is a home maker. Talking about his success mantra, Vedant said, “Never plan to study for 7-8 hours a day. But try to focus on how much or how many chapters will you complete in one particular day or time.” This will improve your focus on all the topics that are to be covered. I always focused on the topics which I had to cover in one day, and then I never saw the time, Vedant added. After his graduation, Vedant is planning to do research or to start preparation for Civil Services.
