Students’ induction programme of first batch begins at BSSS-IAS

Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS) Institute of Advanced Studies welcomed its first batch of young and dynamic managers on Wednesday with a promise to provide platform for up skilling and re-skilling the budding mangers as employable citizens. Four days induction programme started with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony. Dr Pooja Gupta, Chairperson Admission, welcomed the dignitaries and new batch to the institute with heartfelt warmth and blessings. Dr Fr John PJ, Director BSSS-IAS, addressed the students; he guided the students about the need for developing exceptional competitiveness and motivated them to develop those skills for self and social development. Professor RJ Rao, Vice Chancellor, Barkatullah University, Bhopal, was the chief guest of the day, who deliberated that present generation managers need to ensure that they will remain relevant and resilient throughout their career. He also emphasised that young managers need to use all the opportunities to analyse the situation and prove ones worthiness.
 
Anuradha Singhai, Executive Director of Centre for Entrepreneurship Development, Madhya Pradesh, also graced the occasion. She reiterated that young managers have to explore for more opportunities in lieu of practicing the classroom learning at field level and to aim for stars. She also called upon the students to take active participation in all activities/clubs of the institute to redefine themselves. The purpose of a comprehensive four-day induction programme organised by BSSS-IAS is to familiarise the students with the campus and other fellow students and enable them to adapt to the culture, values and legacy of the institute. During the orientation programme, Faculty members will enable the students to get acquainted with the academic guidelines, rules and regulations and objectives of the institute. Induction programme will also witness various interactions with corporate stalwarts and other collaborating sessions like ice breaking and brain storming activities with an objective to create a new history in the field of management education.
