Revenue Minister Govind Singh Rajput said that on the directives of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, decision has been taken to extend Land Record Purification Fortnight to next fifteen days. Rajput gave the aforesaid information during the review meeting on Thursday. Rajput said that this decision has been taken by keeping in view special interest of people in the said campaign. Earlier, the time period of campaign was fixed till November 15. Now it has been extended till November 30. He further said that to know the ground reality of Mukyamantri Swayatm Yojana and Bhu-Abhilekh Shuddikaran Pakwada (Land Record Purification Fortnight), he himself will review schemes division wise. This work will be started from Malwa belt. Later, review of Gwalior, Jabalpur, Rewa and other divisions will be done.
He informed that under Land Record Purification Fortnight, so far, more than 33 lakh mistakes have been corrected. He said that owing to records having errors, land owners were unable to get benefit of various schemes of Government. By keeping this thing in mind, Land Record Purification Fortnight has been started. He also directed to speed up works in connection with Land Record Purification Fortnight, Drone Survey and Mukhya Mantri Swamitbh Yojana. He instructed to put up display board at Court Premises, Tehsil Office, Janpad Office, District Panchayat Office and Collectorate Office for publicity of schemes. He said that it is for the first time after independence that Madhya Pradesh Land records are being computerised. He instructed to keep Sehore and Sagar district on priority list in Mukhya Mantri Swamithb Yojana. He also directed to remove encroachment from main roads passing through urban areas.
