Santosh Rungta Group of Institutions on Wednesday appointed 8 campus ambassadors of the Career Development Cell (CDC). It is all college students who will now work closely with the placement cell. From organizing campus placements to taking the queries of all the other students to the faculties, it will be their job. Rungta R-1 Group Chairman Santosh Rungta explained them their responsibilities by awarding them a certificate. As part of CDC Cell's webinar series, Dr Manoj Agarwal, mentor to IAS aspirants, interacted with all the students of Rungta R-1 including engineering and gave them every information about the top UPSC exam in the country.
He said that too many intelligent students are not needed for civil services, because too much intelligence can create problem. He asked the students to keep the current affairs strong and said that newspaper is the best medium for this. He informed that engineering students choose Geography subject the most in UPSC and PSC. There is no shortcut to crack any government exam, nor will any trick work. You have to go through the complete syllabus. Students also asked about various recruitment exams like IBPS, JE, Electricity Department, Railway etc. Director Technical Dr. Saurabh Rungta also motivated the students in the webinar. Director HR Mahendra Srivastava conducted the webinar. Joint Director Edwin Anthony, Faculty Shazia Islam Nizami were also present.
