A 10-year-old girl was electrocuted at Central Park, Sector-24, Nava Raipur in Atal Nagar during her morning walk.
Chairman of Nava Raipur Atal Nagar Vikas Pradhikaran (NRANVP) R P Mandal has taken cognisance of the electrocution of the girl in the park.
The NRANVP Chairman has asked Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the NRANVP Dr Tamboli Ayyaj Fakir Bhai to take action against the concerned maintenance agency and engineers of the NRANVP and instructed the officials to ensure that such incidents do not happen in the future.
A two-member inquiry committee comprising of In-charge Chief Engineer of the NRANVP Anil Kumar Shrivastava and Manager (Land) Vishwas Rao Meshram has been constituted by CEO Dr Tamboli Ayyaj Fakir Bhai. The committee has been directed to submit its report. The committee has investigated on three points- circumstances of the incident, responsible person of the incident and suggestions to avoid such incident in future. R P Mandal further said that notices are being served to the maintenance company and concerned engineers. In-charge Executive Engineer A R Gupta is Central Park In-charge . Executive Engineer Mr Siledar, Assistant Engineer Pradeep Mishra and Sub-Engineer Mr Armo are the electrical engineers.
Station House Officer of the Rakhi Police Station Krishna Chandra Sidar told The Hitavada that Mona Pal, a resident of Sheetalapara in Arang, came to her relative at Jhanjh village in Nava Raipur. The girl went to the Central Park for morning walk. When she was walking near Amphitheatre, Central Park, she came in contact with an electric wire and she was electrocuted. Later, the girl was taken to a local hospital in Abhanpur. The girl died midway when she was on way to the hospital, SHO Sidar said. After post mortem, the body was handed over to the family members of the deceased girl. FIR has been lodged against the maintenance agency Call Me Services of the Central Park under Section 304, the SHO said.
