CA Jain named non-official independent director on GAIL board

 

 

 

CA Akhilesh Jain has been appointed as non-official independent director in the board of GAIL (India) Limited, on Monday. Government of India’s subsidiary Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) is Maharatna Company. Akhilesh Jain has been appointed as Director (Independent) by a committee on the recommendation of Cabinet Committee headed by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. GAIL (India) is a public sector unit under Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Ministry.
