Just as newcomers, who are desirous of making a name for themselves in films as actors make their foray into films, there are also quite a few producers who are keen on displaying their creativity by coming up with their own films. One such producer who has entered the film industry is Amit Dhupe who hails from Nagpur. He has come up with a new movie ‘Darling’. Amit Dhupe feels that one should make films not just for the sake of entertainment, but also to drive home some subtle message. Dhupe has an avowed objective of leaving some message to the society and to leave his own imprint in every film that he sets out to make. His film ‘Darling’ is scheduled for release all over Maharashtra on December 10, 2021. Besides ‘Darling’, Dhupe is also making a film called ‘Mad’. After the release of ‘Darling’, he is all set to launch two big budget productions.

 

“Right from childhood, I was desirous of making a name for myself in the field of entertainment and decided to enter films and establish my own production banner. As I lost father at a very young age, I had to shoulder the big responsibility,” said Dhupe. ‘Darling’ has been made under the banner of 7 Horse Entertainment Private Limited, V Patke Films and Kathakar Motion Pictures. It has been directed by Sameer Asha Patil who has always churned out films based on various subjects and issues with entirely different and dynamic treatment of his own. Excitement about the film has increased manifold because there is expectation of something different from Sameer this time too. The music for the film is composed by Chinar-Mahesh. Prathamesh Parab and Ritika Shrotri who stole the show as the super hit pair in 2019 will once again lead with their chemistry in ‘Darling’ too.

 

Nikhil Chavan who had won the hearts with the TV serials ‘Laagir Jhale Ji’ and ‘Karbhari Lai Bhari’ will also be with the pair in the film besides Mangesh Kadam and Anand Ingle. Sameer Samant, Mandar Cholkar, Mangesh Kangane and Mahesh Oghle have penned the lyrics in the triangular love story. Ravindra Khomne, Shubangi Kedar, Chinar Kharkar and Sonali Patil have rendered the songs under the music direction of Chinar-Mahesh.
