Shri Ram College students celebrate annual gathering

 

 

 

 

Students pursuing B.A., B.Com., B.B.A. and B.Sc. courses at Shri Ram College of Commerce celebrated annual gathering with great fun and enthusiasm on Thursday. Director General, Shri Ram Group and former Vice-chancellor, Rani Durgavati University, Shivprasad Koshta welcomed Registrar, Rani Durgavati University, Dr. Brajesh Singh who was invited as chief guest. Registrar, Dr. Singh talked about New Education Policy and appreciated the students for their talents. Special guest, Additional Superintendent of Police, Rohit Kashwani highlighted over the significance of NCC and Sports activities and applauded the students who managed time to participate in various competitions along with study. Manager, Shri Ram Group, RK Karsoliya, Leela Karsoliya, Ramendra Karsoliya, Sonam Karsoliya, Rajul Karsoliya and Radha Karsoliya distributed prizes among the winner participants of cultural activities.

 

Various competitions including mehandi, diya and thali decoration and poster competition were organised for the students. Winner of Mrs. India Beautiful Skin 2019, Dolly Khandelwal judged the participants for their performance on the ramp walk and selected Vipul Sahu as Mr. Fresher, Purvi Sanghi as Miss. Fresher, Ashutosh Sen as Mr. SRCC and Bhavishya Verma as Miss. SRCC, Mili Hazra for Best Smile, Anish Sharma as best Smile (Male) while Vijaya Vishwakarma and Ankit Singh were the Best Couple, respectively.

 

Later on Rohit Chandel from Jabalpur Municipal Corporation offered pledge among the students and professors to keep their city clean and always dump garbage in the dustbin. The programme was conducted by Dr. Priyanka Sharma, Shilpa Bhattacharya and Sharad Rai while Programme Officer, Dr. Shrikanta Awasthi proposed vote of thanks. Others who contributed in the programme included Dr. Neelima Sharma, HoD, Dr. Jyoti Patel, Pratibha Sen, Ramratan Kushwaha, Prince Chourasia, Vartika Chansoria, Abhishek Agrawal and others.
