G H Raisoni University (GHRU), Saikheda School of Agriculture will be organising the 2nd Agrifest on December 23 and 24, at GHRU, Saikheda, Chhindwara, MP Campus. The fest will commence at 10 am on December 23 with an opening ceremony. The School of Agricultural Sciences joins with the other companies to commemorate the historic transfer centennial. During the event, chief guest Sharad Nimbalkar, Ex-Vice Chancellor, Dr PDKV, Akola, guest of honour Dr Vilas Bhale, Vice Chancellor Dr PDKV, Akola, Dr Pradeep Kumar Bisen, Vice Chancellor, JNKVV, Jabalpur, Dr Ashish Paturkar, Vice Chancellor, MASFU, Nagpur and Dr Akhil Bansal, IFS, MP will be leading this fest with their views on modernisation of agriculture. Agrifest 2021 will also feature the 40 companies, 100 schools and about 5000 masses of farmers.

 

SOAS have also arranged hands-on training in trending line of agriculture and workshops for overall wellbeing of farmers. Other entertainment will include a delicious variety of local food and the fun fellowship of sharing with friends and relatives from neighbouring lands. In addition to their major sponsorship roles, Cooperative Extension Service (CES) and the Agricultural Experiment Station (AES), KVKs will portray themes of heritage and hope in the form of centrepieces.
