Smart Cinema Awards Ceremony-2021 was held at the auditorium of Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital Nava Raipur on the occasion of 78th birth anniversary of producer of Chhattisgarhi movie Ghar Dwar Vijay Kumar Pandey, on Thursday. Chhattisgarhi movie Benaam Badshah was adjudged the best movie. Actor Karan Khan received the Best Actor award and actress Muskan Sahu won the Best Actress award. Jaiprakash Pandey, son of late Vijay Kumar Pandey, Member of Chhattisgarh Housing Board Ajay Sahu, film producer Mohan Sundarani, film director Manoj Verma, Pushpendra Singh and other artists were present.

 

The Smart Cinema Awards were presented in 29 categories. Four special and one life time achievement awards were given away in the programme. Other awards were Pranav Jha (Best Director), Anil Sharma (Best Villain), Devendra Jangade (Best Debut Director), Jaicky Bhawsar (Best Supporting), Sonali Sahare (Best Supporting Actress), Sandeep Patel and Ravi Sahu (both Best Debut Actor) and others. PRO Dilip Nampallivar was also honoured.
